Controller
Speedwork, based in Bologna, Italy, is the controller for your personal data. For any privacy request, write to team@getspeedwork.co.
Data we collect
- Name and email, to identify and contact you.
- Password, stored as a bcrypt hash. We never know the raw password.
- Conversations with Nico, used to build your problem brief.
- Payment data handled by Stripe. Speedwork does not store card numbers.
- Minimal technical logs for security, abuse prevention and diagnostics.
- Anti-abuse signals for Nico (IP address, User-Agent, language header, a technical cookie
nico_device_id, derived fingerprints, session counters). Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). Used to limit free sessions per device/user, prevent multi-account abuse, and protect the Nico service. Retention: 30 days in Redis cache. No advertising, no commercial profiling.
Why we use it
We use your data to provide the service, manage your account, send transactional emails, process billing, secure the platform and comply with legal obligations.
Where your data lives
Core hosting is on Hetzner servers in Europe. Transactional email is sent through Brevo, AI processing through Mistral, and payments through Stripe under standard contractual safeguards.
